Base Station v3.0: Troubleshooting
This article guides you through troubleshooting steps if your robot cannot connect to the Base Station or receive an RTK signal.
If the robot cannot connect to the Base Station or does not receive an RTK signal, follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Move the robot to an area with a clear sky view. Restart the robot by turning off the power, waiting 10 seconds, and then turning it back on. If the issue persists after five minutes, proceed to the next step.
- Check that the power supply to the Base Station is plugged in securely.
- Look at the power indicator on the underside of the Base Station. If it is off, there is either no power from the socket or the internal fuse has blown.
- If steps 1–3 don’t resolve the issue, restart the Base Station by unplugging the power, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in.
- Wait up to 15 minutes for the connection to reestablish. If there is still no connection or RTK signal, contact your distributor or FarmDroid Care to check if the Base Station appears online on the server.
- If the Base Station is not online, open the base station cabinet for further inspection. Remove the cover carefully, ensuring the area is clear, and maintain a safe distance of at least 0.5 meters from the base station. If local regulations require a greater distance for work near live equipment, always comply.
- Remove the SIM card from the Base Station, clean it, and reinsert it.
- After reinserting the SIM card, restart the Base Station by disconnecting the power supply, waiting 10 seconds, and reconnecting.
- If the error persists after another 15 minutes, or if you are uncertain at any step, contact your distributor for additional support.
