This article is a guide to connectivity options and data usage for your FarmDroid base station.

The base station sends the RTK correction signal to the robot via an internet connection.

The available connectivity options are listed below:

1. FARMDROID SIM-CARD

The Base Station comes equipped with a pre-installed Multi-SIM solution, providing a reliable and secure connection. Both the service and data usage are free for the first year. After the first year, the service continues if you purchase a FarmDroid Care Subscription. For further details, please contact your distributor.

2. THIRD PARTY SIM-CARD (OPTIONAL)

Alternatively, you may choose to use a SIM card from a third-party provider.

When selecting a SIM card, make sure to choose a provider with reliable and strong coverage in all areas where the Base Station and robot will be used.

For the most reliable connection, we recommend using a Multi-SIM solution. This type of SIM automatically connects to the strongest available network from multiple operators in your area.
