Activate the monitoring service

What it is - how to activate the monitoring service

To maximise the working hours of your robot, Farmdroid is offering a Monitoring Service:

  • Monitor of your robots 18 hours per day, 7 days per week, between 13th of March and 11th of June (for season 2023). This means that the Farmdroid Care team will check and remotely troubleshoot some of the alarms which may appear while your robot works in the field, thus minimising the time the robot is idle in the field due an alarm not being checked (e.g. "seed error row x" or "weeding error row x").
  • It is included free of charge in the Service Plan/Uptime Subscription for the 1st year after the commissioning of your robot.
  • Owners of older robots can still purchase the Service Plan/Uptime Subscription by contacting the local Farmdroid distributor.

HOW TO ACTIVATE THE MONITORING SERVICE

Once you have purchased the Service Plan/Uptime Subscription, activating the Monitoring Service is easy and you only need to follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account on the FarmDroid web app at https://farmdroid.app/login.
  2. Select the droid you want to monitor and click on the "3 doted" button (***).
  3. Click on "Edit Droid".
  4. In the "service package" section, click on the drop-down menu and select "Activate Monitoring Service".
  5. Click on "Save".

After completing these steps, the Monitoring Service will be activated for your selected robot.

It is important to note that farmers with the active Service Plan/Uptime Subscription can activate or deactivate the Monitoring Service at any time. We believe this will provide you with the flexibility to adjust the service package to your needs and circumstances.

In order to deactivate the Monitoring Service, follow the same steps outlined above, but instead select "Deactivate Monitoring Service" from the drop-down menu in the "service package" section.

By activating the Monitoring Service, you can rest assured that your robot is being monitored by professionals and any issues will be identified and addressed promptly, helping you minimize disruptions to your farming operations.
