This document describes the upgrade packet UPG22V2.0 to fix the bearing issues of the 2025 version of the combi tool. For the blocking of the rear wheel it is also described, but not as an upgrade since the fix is ordering another type weeding knife and as this is a wear part there are no upgrade packet for this.
Bearing issue.
To fix the bearing wear issue FarmDroid has developed a new Housing for the bearing and new disc to better shield the bearings form dust and dirt. This can be retrofitted to all 2025 versions of the combi tool, and is an integrated part of 2026 version (Version 2) of the combi tool.
The upgrade kit has part number UPG22V2.0 and contains all parts encircled with red in the picture below to service one disc and accompanied bearings
Please keep an eye on how the disc is mounted on top of the bearings on the picture below (Disc in blue)
Stones getting stuck between trailer knife and rear wheel in trailer
The 2025 season revealed issues on rocks getting caught between the rear knife on the active trailer and the rear wheel on the trailer, leading to the rear wheel being blocked.
Here below is the trailer showed with the updated knife.
To minimize this issue a new left L-share with only 20° sweep has been developed part number 102012216. This is not part of the upgrade kit as the L-Shares are wear parts. It is recommended to order those L-shares for your next replacement of shares in order to avoid the issue.
It is only recommended to place the 20° swept knives on that position in front of the rear wheel on the active trailer.
